The overall presentation-
I find Doug has a thought-provoking personality and his presentaion was full of 'bounce' - he got me thinking.
For my (old) brain and the newness of all the topics I found most of the presentation difficult to take in. I would have preferred a few topics covered in a step by step way.
I find I react to new technology by asking Why?( I text and use my mobile about three times a year! However I write some twenty emails a day)- the case for people emailing in questions rather than putting their hands up was not convincing - for me it added to the confusion in my head and wasted time.
I found I agreed with most of where Doug is 'coming from' and would have liked to feel I understood where he might be going - I still don't understand what the term Web 2.0 means what would Web 2.1 and Web 3 mean and what did Web 1.0 mean - I gather this blogging is something to do with it! Well if I can get an interaction with other people through it, I'm for it but if I get "0 Comment" to my blogs too many times - I'm off!

Hi Geoff - I don't know if you came across this free publication 'Web 2.0 'Coming of Age' last year (I think) but it might help you to take a more linear route through what the Web 2.0 landscape is about.
